人生的钥匙。这是父亲讲给我的故事。有一位父亲，在他很小的时候父母就去世了，他成了一名孤儿，孤苦伶丁，一无所有，流浪街头，受尽人间的磨难。最后，终于创下了一份不菲的家业，而他自己也已到了人生暮年，该考虑辞世后的安排了。他膝下有两子，都风华正年，一样的聪明，一样的踏实能干。几乎所有的人，包括他自己，都认为应该把财产一分为二，平分给两个儿子。但在最后一刻，他改变了主意。他把两个儿子叫到床前，从枕头底下拿出一把钥匙，抬起头看着他们，缓慢而清楚地说：我一生所赚得的财富，都锁在这把钥匙能打开的箱子里。可是现在，我只能把这把钥匙传给你们兄弟中的一人。兄弟俩惊讶地看着父亲，几乎一口同声地问：为什么？这太残忍了。是，这是有些残忍。父亲停顿了一下，加重语气道：但也是一种善良。现在，你们自己选择吧。选择这把钥匙的人，必须承担起家庭的责任，按照我的意愿和方式，去经营和管理这些财富。拒绝这把钥匙的人，不必承担任何责任，生命完全属于你自己，你可以按照自己的意愿和方式，去赚取我箱子以外的财富。兄弟俩听完，内心开始斗争。接过这把钥匙，可以保证一生没有苦难，没有风险，但也因此而被束缚，失去自由。拒绝它？毕竟箱子里的财富是有限的，外面的世界更精彩，但是那样的人生充满不测，前途未卜，万一父亲早已猜出兄弟俩的心思，他微微一笑，说：不错，每种选择都不完美。有快乐，也有痛苦，但这就是人生。你不可能把快乐集中，把痛苦消散。最重要的是你要了解自己，你想要什么？要过程，还是结局？尽弟俩豁然开朗。哥哥说：我要这把钥匙。弟弟说：我要出去闯荡。二人权衡利弊，最终各取所需。这样的结局，与父亲先前的预料不谋而合。如今，20年过去了。兄弟俩经历,境遇迥然不同。哥哥生活舒适安逸，把家业管理得井井有条，性格也变得越来越温和儒雅，特别是到了人生暮年，与去世的父亲越来越像，只是少了些锐利和坚韧。弟弟生活艰辛动荡，几经起伏受尽磨难，性格也变得刚毅果断。与20年前相比，相差很大，几乎没多大关系了。最苦最难的时候，也曾后悔过，怨恨过，但是已经选择了，没有退路，只能一往无前,坚定不移地往前走。经历了人生的起伏跌宕，最终创下了一份属于自己的事业。这个时候，他才真正理解了父亲，并深深地感谢父亲。第一次听到这个故事，我只有18岁。那时我刚考上省城大学，即将离家远行。父亲给我讲了这个故事。那时的我还不能理解父亲的良苦用心。现在，又一个18年过去了。几多风雨，几经坎坷，我终于真正理解了这故事的寓义。人生充满了选择。每一种选择都携带着快乐和痛苦。快乐是一种营养，痛苦是比快乐更丰盛的营养，它们共同滋补人生，让生命进发出无限活力和蓬勃生机。回忆过去，我深深地感谢父亲，感谢他给了我生命，和生命中最珍贵的礼物自由，让我拥有自己人生的钥匙。大道理：在人生道路上，我们有很多不同地选择，每一种选择都带有快乐和痛苦。当然，快乐是我们追求的，但我们却不能忽视痛苦，因为有时痛苦更能激人奋进，让人的生命释放光彩。
